Last week, our UK team received the bittersweet news that after years of incredibly dedicated and successful service, our National Leader Bex Keer will be stepping down in April 2013. Reflecting on the decision, Bex remarked:
Making this decision feels a little bit like leaving the best job in the world. So, this is an exciting opportunity for my successor as UK National Leader of STOP THE TRAFFIK. I hope they thrive in this position as much as I have.
In light of this news, we are now looking for a new National Leader to build on the successes of our work throughout the UK.
STOP THE TRAFFIK’s global movement has developed extensively over the last six years. The National Leader’s role will involve building our UK work through ongoing delivery of community projects and development of new preventative work, engaging those who are most vulnerable to being trafficked. The successful candidate will lead and manage with determination to build a grassroots movement, which tackles a global issue at a local level.
If you think you fit the bill and want to join our friendly, dedicated team to play a pivotal role in the fight against human trafficking, find out more and apply at www.stopthetraffik.org/jobs.
Applications close on Monday 18th March (noon).
