The Law Society is hosting a human trafficking seminar on the 11th of May in London.
The topics will include;
– Understanding the existing UK and European trafficking prevention framework
– Trafficking indicators
– Solicitors’ duty to investigate
– An update on latest case law
– Victim care
The event is intended for solicitors who practise in the following areas: crime, immigration, family law, employment law, welfare rights law and human rights law.
Prosecutors, police officers, probation officers and those from local authorities concerned with the welfare of the victims of trafficking would also be welcome.
The speakers for the event are;
