ACT is our Active Communities against Trafficking project. It is about empowering and equipping local people to take a stand in their communities and fight for the rights of those hidden in the flat upstairs, the children who go missing from their social services and the trafficked labour making our kit-kat bars.
If you are interested in setting up a group or if you are already part of one, there is a new opportunity for funding for your ACT group in the UK.
The government is using money seized from traffickers and other criminals to fund local initiatives that fight crime and engage community members
Visit http://cashback.cjsonline.gov.uk to register your ACT group, and then forward it to all your local contacts, so that they can vote for you
Let me know how it goes!
