Going for Gold in the Fight against Trafficking
The Olympic Games are now in full swing and GIFT box is creating a stir on the streets of London!
Whilst Team GB has been doing us proud, STOP THE TRAFFIK has also had some winning results. Amongst the crowds, our fantastic teams of volunteers have been engaging with members of the public from all over the world in a bid to inspire anti-trafficking action.
Hundreds of men, women and children have been exploring our GIFT boxes and sharing their inspirational stories and ideas with us.

People engaging with GIFT box on Facebook: 16,000

The project has reaffirmed our belief in the importance of collective action to spot and disrupt trafficking; whilst being on the box we’ve been approached by members of the public about two potential incidences of trafficking, highlighting the power of community awareness.

So far, 2500 passersby have stopped to investigate the brightly-colored life-sized gift boxes. Inside, they find the stories of victims. 200 volunteers have been participating with members of the people from all over the world in a bid to inspire anti-trafficking actions.
